Then we craft them into nutritious baking in big generous portions, so you make a difference one bite at a time.

Baking a difference since 1942

Breadcraft are the wise bakers behind Rebel Bakehouse. Established in the beautiful Wairarapa in 1942, Breadcraft has always had a passion for doing things differently.

The team regularly travels the world to perfect the art of bread making from artisan craftsmen, to meet the ever-changing needs of a modern, sophisticated consumer. Right up to today with our extraordinary rebellious range of Rebel Bakehouse wraps, we know that combining the best ingredients for great baked products is a whole load of craft and expertise, a sprinkle of love and a desire to constantly challenge the norm.

In Breadcraft’s third generation of family ownership we continue a proud tradition of baking quality loaf breads, specialty breads and cakes for regional, national and international markets. As proud Wairarapa locals, we are always ready to lend the community a helping hand through sponsorships and supporting local events. And as always, served with a big slice of aroha.

Much has changed over time but our commitment to good, honest ingredients, great taste and awesome value are the same.
